Many nations have declared illegal several series of stamps that we have classified separately and are presented below.

 

Cinderella

Virtualmente qualsiasi cosa simile a un francobollo, ma non rilasciato per scopi postale da un'amministrazione postale.

Francobolli stampati in quantità eccessive.

Secondo un articolo del Philatelic Webmaster Organization, alcune aziende che stampano francobolli per conto di paesi poveri (soprattutto in Africa) sono mirati al collezionismo.

I francobolli sono apparentemente approvati dalle locali amministrazioni postali, ma sono stampati in enormi quantità (rispetto alle esigenze locali del paese), e vendute soprattutto per i collezionisti.
L'articolo cita in particolare la Società Svizzera di stampa "Impressor SA".

 

Stamps printed in excesssive amount.

According to the article of the Philatelic Webmaster Organization, some printing companies have made deals with poor countries (mostly in Africa) to print stamps that are mostly targeted to the stamp collecting market.

The stamps are apparently endorsed by the local postal administrations, but are printed in huge quantities (compared to the local needs of the country), and sold mostly to collectors.

The article in particular cites the Swiss printing company "Impressor SA".

La Repubblica Araba Democratica dei Sahrawi conosciuta semplicemente come Sahara Occidentale, è uno Stato parzialmente riconosciuto a livello internazionale da 87 paesi membri dell'ONU.

Per le Nazioni Unite è ancora formalmente un Territorio non autonomo. Esso è collocato a sud del Marocco, aspira alla sovranità nazionale ed al completo riconoscimento a livello internazionale.

The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, also known as Western Sahara, is a partially recognized state, recognised by 87 UN member states.

For the United Nations it is still formally a non-autonomous territory.

It is located south of Morocco, aspires to national sovereignty and full international recognition.
